Class 12 pass candidates who hold a PET-2025 score card can try for 1,784 posts in UPSSSC Inter Level Recruitment 2026. PET is the Preliminary Eligibility Test of the UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). Only those who sat PET-2025 and got a score card can apply. The posts are Group C (junior state government) jobs in 11 job titles under Advertisement No. 26-Exam/2026. Applications are taken on upsssc.gov.in from 10 November to 1 December 2026. The basic qualification is Intermediate (Class 12), but 1,170 of the posts also ask for a CCC computer certificate. Two posts make up more than half of the advertisement. Gram Vikas Adhikari (Samaj Kalyan), a village development officer post, has 525 seats. Gram Panchayat Adhikari, the village panchayat officer, has 508.

UPSSSC notice we worked from: Advertisement No. 26-Exam/2026 for the Combined Lower Subordinate Service (Intermediate Level) Main Examination (PET-2025)/26, published on 16 October 2026 and signed by the Commission’s Secretary. It is a 39-page scanned Hindi PDF, so each page was read as an image. Pages 28 to 39 are certificate formats. The Advt 26-Exam/2026 PDF opens from the UPSSSC website. The site’s full notice list loads by script and could not be read. On 20 October 2026 the ‘Important’ box on the UPSSSC website showed three notices dated 12 October 2026, none of them about Advt 26-Exam/2026.

Eleven job titles on two pay levels in Advt 26-Exam/2026

Pay Level is the step on the state government’s pay table that fixes your starting basic pay. Level 3 starts at Rs 21,700 and Level 2 at Rs 19,900, as printed in the notice. Basic pay is the base salary before allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA). The notice gives no allowance figures, so this page shows basic pay only and does not estimate in-hand pay.

Post Department Pay printed in the notice Posts
Gram Vikas Adhikari (Samaj Kalyan) Social Welfare Directorate Level 3, Rs 21,700 to 69,100 525
Gram Panchayat Adhikari Panchayati Raj Directorate Level 3, Rs 21,700 to 69,100 508
Vanijya Kar Sangrah Amin (commercial tax collection) Office of the State Tax Commissioner Level 3, Rs 21,700 to 69,100 235
Bhoomi Arjan Amin (land acquisition) Land Acquisition Directorate, Board of Revenue Level 3, Rs 21,700 to 69,100 187
Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak (social welfare supervisor) Social Welfare Directorate Level 3, Rs 21,700 to 69,100 137
Bhandar Pal evam Lipik (storekeeper and clerk) Medical and Health Services Directorate Level 2; printed as Rs 5,200 to 20,200, grade pay Rs 1,900 118
Bhandar Pal evam Lipik (special selection) Medical and Health Services Directorate Level 2; printed as Rs 5,200 to 20,200, grade pay Rs 1,900 2
Sahkari Krishi Paryavekshak (cooperative farm supervisor) Commissioner and Registrar, Cooperative Level 3, Rs 21,700 to 69,100 50
Saraniyak (tabulator) Consolidation Commissioner’s office Level 2, Rs 19,900 to 63,200 14
Grihmata (hostel housemother) Tribal Development Directorate Level 3, Rs 21,700 to 69,100 5
Farm Lipik (farm clerk) Prison Administration and Reform Services HQ Level 2, Rs 19,900 to 63,200 2
Bikri Karta (salesperson) Prison Administration and Reform Services HQ Level 2, Rs 19,900 to 63,200 1
Total 1,784

So 1,647 posts are at Level 3 and 137 are at Level 2. For the storekeeper and clerk rows, the notice writes Level 2 but gives “minimum 5,200, maximum 20,200, grade pay 1,900”. Those are older pay band figures, not the Level 2 range. Two Level 3 rows, Commercial Tax Amin and Sahkari Krishi Paryavekshak, also print an old pay band. It is Rs 5,200 to 20,200 with grade pay Rs 2,000. The notice marks some posts as permanent and some as temporary. Gram Vikas Adhikari, Commercial Tax Amin, Grihmata and both storekeeper rows are listed as temporary. Page 7 adds that the total and the category-wise numbers may go up or down.

Gram Panchayat Adhikari has one ST seat: the category split for the six largest posts

Post UR OBC SC ST EWS
Gram Vikas Adhikari (Samaj Kalyan) 245 123 95 10 52
Gram Panchayat Adhikari 215 167 104 1 21
Commercial Tax Amin 95 57 54 6 23
Bhoomi Arjan Amin 131 17 21 0 18
Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak 67 30 22 5 13
Bhandar Pal evam Lipik 48 40 18 1 11

UR means Unreserved and EWS means Economically Weaker Section. The two special-selection storekeeper posts are both for ST candidates.

The CCC certificate rule behind 1,170 posts in Advt 26

Every post needs Intermediate (Class 12) or an equivalent exam. Most rows name the UP Board (Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad) exam. Three posts add one more paper. Gram Vikas Adhikari (Samaj Kalyan), Gram Panchayat Adhikari and Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak also need the CCC certificate in computer operation. CCC is a basic computer course certificate issued by NIELIT (earlier called DOEACC).

The wording is not the same for all three. For Gram Vikas Adhikari and Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak, the notice also accepts an equivalent certificate recognised by the government. For Gram Panchayat Adhikari, it names only the NIELIT CCC certificate and gives no equivalent option.

These three posts hold 1,170 of the 1,784 seats. If you plan to select them, you must hold the CCC certificate by 1 December 2026. Paragraph 2.2 of the notice says every qualification and certificate must be in hand by the last date. Under that paragraph, a certificate obtained after 1 December 2026 does not meet this requirement.

Prison farm clerk and salesperson: Class 12 plus farm or sales experience

The two prison department posts are small, but their rules differ from the rest. Farm Lipik needs Intermediate, at least three years of experience in farm work, and working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script. Bikri Karta needs Intermediate, at least three years of sales work in a firm or a government department, and the same Hindi knowledge. Farm Lipik also has a narrower age band of 21 to 30.

Territorial Army, NCC ‘B’ and Lekhpal training as tie-break preferences

Every post gives preference, when other things are equal, to two groups. One is people with at least two years in the Territorial Army. The other is holders of an NCC ‘B’ certificate (the second-level National Cadet Corps certificate). Some posts add more. Bhoomi Arjan Amin favours applicants who have done the training set for Lekhpal, the village revenue official. Sahkari Krishi Paryavekshak prefers people with cooperation training. That training can be from the National Cooperative Union of India, the Provincial Cooperative Union or a recognised college run by the Cooperative Department. For Gram Panchayat Adhikari, a rural background is one more plus point. The form asks a Yes or No question on preferential qualifications.

Farm Lipik alone has a 21 to 30 age band in UPSSSC Inter Level Recruitment 2026

The notice does not print one calendar cut-off date. It copies each post’s service rule instead. The advertisement itself is dated 16 October 2026.

Post Age limit Age is counted on (wording of the notice)
Commercial Tax Amin, Bhoomi Arjan Amin, Grihmata, Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak, Gram Vikas Adhikari, Gram Panchayat Adhikari, Bikri Karta 18 to 40 1 July of the calendar year in which the vacancies are advertised
Bhandar Pal evam Lipik 18 to 40 1 July of the year of recruitment
Saraniyak At least 18, and must not have reached 40 1 July of the year of recruitment
Sahkari Krishi Paryavekshak 18 to 40 1 January of the recruitment year if advertised from January to June; 1 July if advertised from July to December
Farm Lipik 21 to 30 Same January or July rule as above

SC, ST and other notified groups get extra years under UP government rules. The notice does not say how many. Employees already working in UP state services get 5 extra years on the upper limit. Sahkari Krishi Paryavekshak gives 5 extra years to people already in government service or in the UP Cooperative Union. Only the date of birth on your High School (or equivalent) certificate is accepted. Researchers of the UP Chief Minister Fellowship get age relaxation and preference under their own 2026 rules. Check your age against your post’s age rule, and make sure you hold every required certificate by 1 December 2026. If either check fails, UPSSSC can cancel your candidature at any stage, even after the exam. A man with more than one living wife, or a woman married to a man who already has a living wife, is barred unless the Governor exempts them.

Shortlist by PET-2025 score, then 65 marks of general subjects and Hindi, 15 of computers and 20 on UP

Selection is by written exam only. There is no interview. UPSSSC will first shortlist candidates for the main exam using their PET-2025 normalised score. This is the PET-2025 score after UPSSSC’s normalisation, not the raw score. The Commission will call 15 times the number of posts in each category. Everyone tied at the cut-off score, counted to two decimal places, is also called. A PET-2025 score of zero or below, raw or normalised, means you will not be shortlisted. A PET-2025 result marked “Under Investigation” or “Provisional” does not stop you applying, but UPSSSC decides your shortlisting after its inquiry.

Part Subjects Questions and marks
Part 1 History and national movement 5. Polity and Constitution 5. Geography 5. Economy and social development 5. Rural society and development 5. Current events 5. Science and technology 5. Environment and disaster management 10. Data interpretation 10. General Hindi 10. 65
Part 2 Computer and information technology, including newer fields such as artificial intelligence and machine learning 15
Part 3 General information about Uttar Pradesh 20
Total One objective paper, 2 hours 100

Each question carries one mark. Each wrong answer takes away a quarter of a mark, so four wrong answers cancel one right answer. The notice does not give the exam date; it says the date will be announced later. The exam centre, date and time will come on the admit card and cannot be changed.

Women and ex-servicemen pay the same Rs 25 as their main category

The form costs Rs 25 for every category: Unreserved, OBC, SC and ST. This is an online processing fee; the application fee itself is zero. Women, ex-servicemen, persons with disabilities, dependants of freedom fighters and outstanding sportspersons pay the fee of their own main category. You can pay online by card, net banking or UPI, or by an SBI e-challan.

The main exam has its own fee. Only shortlisted candidates pay it, before downloading the main exam admit card. The notice does not state that amount.

Log in with your PET-2025 registration number, then pick your posts one by one

  1. On upsssc.gov.in, log in with your PET-2025 registration number. An OTP (one-time password) goes to the mobile number or e-mail you gave for PET-2025.
  2. Your name, parents’ names, category, date of birth and other personal details appear on their own from PET-2025. Your photo and signature also come from PET-2025 and cannot be changed.
  3. Select every post you want. A post you do not select cannot be claimed later.
  4. For each selected post, answer Yes or No on the qualification. Then fill in the board or university, passing year, roll number, certificate date and marks.
  5. Pay Rs 25. The form is submitted only after the fee is paid and matched with the bank. Then download and print it.

If a payment goes through but the form does not appear, use “Update Your Transaction ID by Double Verification” in the Applicant Segment. You can match the fee until 8 December 2026. Only one application is allowed. If you submit more than one, only the last one counts.

Marital status and EWS can change after you submit; your photo and name cannot

After final submission, an OTP login lets you edit a short list of fields until 8 December 2026. You may edit your postal address, your qualification details and your marital status. You may also edit EWS status and horizontal reservation details, such as disability, ex-serviceman, freedom fighter dependant, gender and outstanding sportsperson. Your name, photo, signature and any detail not listed above cannot be changed, and nothing can be edited after 8 December 2026. Candidates with a disability must mark their disability category and sub-category in the form.

You will not choose your post order in this form. Paragraph 2.5 says candidates give their post preference at document verification (DV), the stage where original certificates are checked. UPSSSC says it will try, as far as possible, to allot posts by your preference, keeping in view post availability, merit, qualification and age. Its decision is final.

327 women’s seats, but no disability seat in Gram Panchayat Adhikari

Out of the 1,784 posts, 327 are under women’s reservation, 63 under ex-servicemen and 35 under disability. These are horizontal seats: a selected candidate is counted in their own category, such as OBC or SC. The 35 disability seats sit in only four posts: Gram Vikas Adhikari 21, Bhoomi Arjan Amin 7, Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak 5 and Sahkari Krishi Paryavekshak 2. Gram Panchayat Adhikari has no disability seat this time, though it has 75 seats for women. There are also 22 seats for dependants of freedom fighters and 22 for outstanding sportspersons, spread over the same posts.

  • Women’s reservation is only for women from UP. A woman claiming a caste category must use a caste certificate issued on her father’s side.
  • Ex-servicemen reservation covers only those who left service on or before 1 December 2026.
  • The EWS certificate must be issued between 1 April 2026 and 1 December 2026, based on income in 2025-26, and valid for 2026-27. Family income must be below Rs 8 lakh.
  • Candidates who are not original residents of UP get no reservation and are treated as Unreserved.
  • Fitting two reserved groups does not double the benefit; you get the single most useful relaxation.
  • Caste and other reservation certificates must be issued by 1 December 2026 in the format printed in the notice. A disability certificate must state the type and percentage of disability.
  • Serving government employees need a no-objection certificate from their office.

Keep your PET-2025 mobile number working: the OTP login depends on it

The login code for this form goes to the mobile number or e-mail you gave for PET-2025. Check that it still works before 10 November 2026. Keep your PET-2025 score card and registration number at hand. If you want Gram Vikas Adhikari, Gram Panchayat Adhikari or Samaj Kalyan Paryavekshak, have your CCC certificate ready. Get a fresh EWS certificate if you claim EWS. After paying the Rs 25 fee, make sure the form prints. The correction window up to 8 December 2026 covers only the fields listed above.

For other forms, see our list of Uttar Pradesh government jobs, the state commission and board recruitments and jobs for 12th pass candidates. PET-2025 candidates can also look at the UPSSSC Sports Directorate posts under Advt 22-Exam/2026, which also use the PET-2025 score. Readers with Class 10 or 12 may also check the Supreme Court Junior Court Attendant recruitment.
