BPSC AE Exam Pattern 2024
BPSC Assistant Engineer written exam is conducted in 6 papers and 1 hour is given to solve each paper. Out of which 4 papers are compulsory and 2 papers are optional. Optional paper is different for Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering posts. To appear in the examination of all papers, it is mandatory for the candidates to pass in General English and General Hindi paper first. A minimum of 30 marks are required to pass in Common Hindi and Common English. Candidates securing less than the minimum passing marks in General Hindi and Common English will be disqualified for the next paper.
