CG Vyapam Sahayak Shikshak 2026 (exam code LSAT26) and the Shikshak exam (LST26) have a second online form window from 15 October to 30 October 2026, until 5:00 PM. It is open to candidates with disabilities (divyang candidates) of the types that the Directorate of Public Instruction added to each post after a High Court order. The Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board (CGSSB, earlier called Vyapam) announced it in two notices dated 14 October 2026. The Directorate’s corrigenda of 13 October 2026 are now on the CGSSB website. Corrections are allowed from 31 October to 2 November 2026. The LSAT26 exam is set for 6 December 2026 and the LST26 exam for 20 December 2026.

Notices behind this page: CGSSB notice No. SSB/Pariksha F-20/2026/4139 (Sahayak Shikshak, LSAT26) and No. 4145 (Shikshak, LST26), both dated 14 October 2026; the Directorate of Public Instruction’s corrigenda No. ESTB-101/207/2025/213 for Sahayak Shikshak and No. 214 for Shikshak, both dated 13 October 2026, and its newspaper corrigendum No. 198 of 11 October 2026. Also used: the Sahayak Shikshak detailed advertisement (on the CGSSB site from 24 July 2026), the Shikshak detailed advertisement (from 7 August 2026), the LST26 press note No. 3409 of 7 August 2026 and the CGSSB application instructions for divyang candidates dated 15 October 2026. All of them are on the CGSSB website, on its LSAT26 and LST26 reopening pages. When we checked again on 26 October 2026, CGSSB had issued no later notice changing these dates.

Why CG Vyapam reopened the Sahayak Shikshak 2026 form

Both CGSSB notices and both corrigenda cite the Chhattisgarh High Court order of 9 October 2026 in case WPS No. 6783 of 2026 (Minakshi Manglekar and others versus the State of Chhattisgarh and others). To follow it, the Directorate of Public Instruction (Lok Shikshan Sanchalanalaya) added more disability types to the list of types found suitable for each post. The corrigenda say this is in line with a revised Social Welfare Department notification of 11 September 2026. CGSSB is reopening the online form for candidates of those added types.

Exam and post First form window Disability types added Exam date
LSAT26: Sahayak Shikshak (Assistant Teacher) 24 July to 21 August 2026 B (blind), D (deaf), CP (cerebral palsy) 6 December 2026
LST26: Shikshak in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Social Science 7 August to 2 September 2026 B (blind), CP 20 December 2026
LST26: Shikshak (Maths) 7 August to 2 September 2026 BA (both arms), ASD (mild autism spectrum disorder), CP, LC (leprosy cured) 20 December 2026
LST26: Shikshak (Agriculture) 7 August to 2 September 2026 CP, LC 20 December 2026

Both exams had earlier dates. Citing the same court order, a CGSSB notice of 9 October 2026 said LSAT26 would not be held on 11 October. A notice of 12 October said the same for the LST26 exam of 25 October. Both exams will be held at 16 district headquarters. The notices say each exam is being held on its date “for all candidates”.

15 to 30 October 2026: the reopened CGSSB form dates

  • Online form opens: 15 October 2026
  • Online form closes: 30 October 2026, 5:00 PM
  • Correction window: 31 October to 2 November 2026, until 5:00 PM

Paragraph 4 of each corrigendum gives the chance to apply online to candidates of the added types. The 15 October application instructions also say that only candidates with a permanent, benchmark disability count for posts advertised in the divyang category. Neither the notices nor the corrigenda tell first-window applicants to apply again. The corrigenda place candidates who have already applied under BLOA and AAV in group Ga, and those under SLD and MI in group Gha-Nga (see the groups below).

The notices print no fee amount. The 15 October application instructions include an exam fee payment step before you submit. They say Chhattisgarh local residents who appear in the exam get the fee back in the bank account they paid from. A change made in the correction window also carries the set fee. Not sure whether this window covers you, or whether you need a new form? Call the CGSSB helpline on 0771-2972780 (printed on both notices) or email helpdesk.cgvyapam@gmail.com before 30 October.

Corrigendum 213 removes the fully deaf bar in paragraph 5(iv)

The original Sahayak Shikshak detailed advertisement listed the disability types it found suitable in every district, using its own codes.

  • OA (one arm)
  • OL (one leg)
  • BL (both legs)
  • OAL (one arm and one leg)
  • BLOA (both legs and one arm)
  • LV (low vision)
  • HH (hard of hearing)
  • DW (dwarfism)
  • AAV (acid attack victims)
  • SLD (specific learning disability)
  • LC (leprosy cured)
  • MDY (muscular dystrophy)
  • MI (mental illness)

A note added SD (spinal deformity) and SI (spinal injury) from a central notification of 24 August 2022. B, D and CP were not on that list. Paragraph 5(iv) on page 11 of the same advertisement said a person with hearing loss is eligible only if they can hear with a hearing aid. It said a fully deaf person is not eligible.

The Directorate’s corrigendum No. 213 of 13 October 2026 changes both points. It adds B, D and CP to the suitable types for Sahayak Shikshak, and it deletes paragraph 5(iv). The Sahayak Shikshak advertisement no longer bars fully deaf candidates. Corrigendum No. 214 deletes the same paragraph 5(iv) (page 13) from the Shikshak advertisement. Both corrigenda say all other terms of the advertisements stay the same.

For Shikshak, D was already a listed type in the August advertisement. The reopened LST26 window is for the types added by corrigendum 214 (B, CP, BA, ASD and LC, by subject). If you are fully deaf and want to apply for a Shikshak post now, confirm with CGSSB on 0771-2972780 that this window covers you.

Four disability groups, VI, HI, OI and MD, in the 13 October corrigenda

Each corrigendum also splits the posts kept for local residents with disabilities into four groups, following a General Administration Department letter of 5 March 2019. For Sahayak Shikshak the groups are:

  • Group Ka (VI, visual): B and LV
  • Group Kha (HI, hearing): D and HH
  • Group Ga (OI): OA, OL, LC, DW, MDY, CP, BL, OAL, SD and SI
  • Group Gha-Nga (MD): multiple disabilities, meaning more than one of the types marked for that post

Shikshak in Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Social Science uses the same groups. For Maths and Agriculture, group Ka has only LV and group Ga has no SD or SI; Maths adds BA and ASD (Mild) to group Ga.

2,292 Sahayak Shikshak posts in two cadres under the 2026 advertisement

The detailed advertisement prints two tables. The E-cadre covers 12 districts with 795 posts. The T-cadre covers 16 districts with 1,497 posts. Together that makes 2,292 posts; the advertisement does not print this sum. It sets reservation for persons with disabilities at 7 percent (paragraph 5(iii)). By our count, the corrigendum’s district rows give 53 such posts in the E-cadre and 103 in the T-cadre. The T-cadre figure is 2 more than the 101 in the original rows: Surajpur now has 4 instead of 3, and Jashpur 11 instead of 10. The hearing group (D and HH) has 11 E-cadre and 30 T-cadre posts. These seats and the women’s seats are for Chhattisgarh local residents, and the ex-servicemen’s seats are for Chhattisgarh ex-servicemen. The advertisement says the number of posts can change.

Under a GAD letter of 9 February 2026, all 70 posts advertised in Janjgir-Champa go to Sakti district. Of the 100 posts in Koriya, 50 go to Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.

Which teaching diplomas and TET pass CG Vyapam Sahayak Shikshak 2026 accepts

You need one of these, together with a pass in a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) held by the appropriate government:

  • Class 12 with at least 50% and a 2-year D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education);
  • Class 12 with at least 45% and a 2-year D.El.Ed under the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) regulations of 2002;
  • Class 12 with at least 50% and a 4-year B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education);
  • Class 12 with at least 50% and a 2-year D.Ed (Special Education);
  • a graduate degree and a 2-year D.El.Ed.

The advertisement does not name which TET counts. You also need a Chhattisgarh local resident certificate. The advertisement says certificates must be in hand by the last date of the online form; the notices do not say whether 30 October 2026 counts for the reopened window.

Age is counted on 1 January 2026: at least 21 and below 35. SC, ST and OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates of Chhattisgarh get 5 more years and women 10 more. Persons with disabilities get relaxation under the state’s rules. The advertisement caps the age at 45 in all cases. The pay is Pay Matrix Level 6, with allowances under state orders.

Selection is on the written exam result. A selected candidate with a disability is examined by the district medical board before joining. Probation is 3 years and can be extended by one year.

868 E-cadre and 786 T-cadre posts in the LST26 Shikshak advertisement

The Shikshak detailed advertisement (16 pages, put on the CGSSB site on 7 August 2026) lists posts by division and subject at Pay Matrix Level 8. The totals by subject are:

Subject E-cadre posts T-cadre posts
Hindi 109 141
Sanskrit 150 150
English 319 185
Maths 135 115
Social Science 150 100
Agriculture 5 95
Total 868 786

For a Shikshak post you need one of these:

  • a graduate degree and a 2-year D.El.Ed;
  • a graduate degree with at least 50% and a 1-year B.Ed;
  • a graduate degree with at least 45% and a 1-year B.Ed earned under the NCTE regulations;
  • Class 12 with at least 50% and a 4-year B.A.Ed, B.Sc.Ed or B.El.Ed;
  • a graduate degree with at least 50% and a 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).

You also need a TET pass, except for Agriculture. Those posts are in higher secondary schools, so a B.Ed is compulsory there but TET is not (page 10).

The graduation must include the subject:

  • Hindi: Hindi literature;
  • Sanskrit: Sanskrit literature, or a BA (Classics);
  • English: English literature;
  • Maths: Maths with any two of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics, Military Science or Geology;
  • Social Science: one of History, Geography, Commerce, Economics or Political Science;
  • Agriculture: Agriculture.

You may apply for only one subject (paragraph 8(i)). The age rules match Sahayak Shikshak: 21 to under 35 on 1 January 2026, with the same relaxations and a cap of 45. The August press note says CG local residents who appear in the exam get their exam fee back.
