- Operator and trade posts such as Lift Operator, Sub Station Apprentice and Assistant Operator cum Mechanic: Pay Level 2, that is ₹19,900 to ₹63,200.

- Trained Graduate Teacher posts: Pay Level 7, that is ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400.
On top of the basic pay you also get dearness allowance, house rent allowance and other Delhi government allowances, so the in hand salary is higher than the basic. For example, a Trained Graduate Teacher at Level 7 with a basic of ₹44,900 usually takes home roughly ₹60,000 to ₹70,000 a month after allowances, depending on the city. These in hand figures are approximate and change with the DA rate and your posting.
DSSSB 2026 Selection Process
Selection is through a one tier computer based test (CBT). For general posts it is a single paper of 200 questions. For technical and teaching posts the one tier exam is divided into two sections of 100 marks each, taken in the same sitting. Some posts also add a qualifying skill test, typing test, physical or endurance test, driving test or trade test, followed by document verification.
The computer based test has 200 multiple choice questions for 200 marks, to be done in 2 hours, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. In the two section exam, Section A usually covers general topics such as General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic and English or Hindi, while Section B covers the specific subject of the post. The minimum qualifying marks are generally 40 percent for General and EWS, 35 percent for OBC, and 30 percent for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. The exact exam pattern for your post is given in the official notification.
