The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET UG 2026 provisional answer key today, 9 June 2026, on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. Your question-wise response sheet is out on the same page. If you want to challenge any answer, you only have time until 11 June 2026 — so check it now, not later.
I checked the official portal. You need your application number and password to log in, and the objection fee is Rs 200 for each question you challenge.
With the answer key and your response sheet together, you can add up your expected marks before the result comes out. That gives you a fair idea of where you stand.

- Go to cuet.nta.nic.in.

- Log in with your application number and password.
- Download your response sheet and the provisional answer key.
- Save or take a print for later use.
How to challenge an answer (last date 11 June)
This is the part that matters most right now. If you think any answer is wrong, raise your objection before the window closes on 11 June.
- On cuet.nta.nic.in, click the “Challenge regarding CUET Answer Key” tab.
- Log in with your registration number and password.
- Check the question IDs and the option NTA has marked as correct.
- Select the option you want to challenge.
- Upload your supporting proof (a standard textbook page or an official source).
- Click “Save your Claim”.
- Pay Rs 200 for each question you challenge and submit.
One honest tip: challenge a question only when you have clear proof. The Rs 200 is charged per question, and NTA reviews every objection on the basis of the proof you upload. A guess without proof is just wasted money.
What happens after the challenge window?
NTA will review all the objections it receives. The final answer key is expected by 26 June 2026, and the CUET UG 2026 result by 7 July 2026. For reference, you can see how scores and cut-offs looked in the CUET UG result 2024. Remember — your result is prepared on the final answer key, not the provisional one. So even if your challenge is accepted, the correction applies to everyone.
